What We Treat

We recognize that people are not diagnoses. We complete a thorough assessment of your individual needs to best reach your goals.

Parkinson's Disease

We design therapy sessions to help individuals manage the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and maintain independence and quality of life. Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that affects movement, balance, and coordination, often leading to stiffness, tremors, slowed movements, and postural instability. Our physical therapy programs are tailored to each person’s unique needs and are aimed at improving:

  • Mobility and walking

  • Balance and fall prevention

  • Flexibility and posture

  • Strength and endurance

  • Coordination and motor control

  • Confidence in daily activities

Therapists use evidence-based techniques such as PWR! Moves, gait training, balance exercises, functional movement retraining, and cueing strategies to help retrain the brain and body. Early intervention and regular therapy can slow functional decline, promote neuroplasticity, and support a more active and engaged lifestyle.

Whether newly diagnosed or managing later-stage symptoms, we empower clients to move better, feel better, and live better.

Multiple Sclerosis

We focus on helping individuals manage the physical challenges caused by MS—a chronic, often unpredictable disease of the central nervous system that can affect muscle control, strength, balance, coordination, and overall mobility. Physical therapy plays a key role in addressing the diverse and changing symptoms of MS. Each program is personalized to meet the individual’s needs and may include:

  • Balance and coordination training

  • Walking and gait improvement

  • Strengthening exercises

  • Fatigue management strategies

  • Flexibility and spasticity reduction

  • Fall prevention and safety education

Our therapists use research-backed interventions to promote function, increase independence, and enhance quality of life. As MS symptoms can vary and progress over time, therapy evolves with you—supporting both short-term goals and long-term mobility.

Whether during a relapse, recovery phase, or stable period, MS physical therapy helps you stay active, safe, and confident in your daily activities.

Dizziness and Vestibular Dysfunction

Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT) is a specialized form of physical therapy designed to treat dizziness, vertigo, imbalance, and other symptoms related to inner ear and brain disorders affecting the vestibular system. These symptoms can be debilitating and often interfere with daily activities, safety, and quality of life.

VRT uses targeted exercises to help the brain adapt to and compensate for inner ear dysfunction. Individualized treatment plans may include:

  • Balance and postural control training

  • Gaze stabilization exercises

  • Habituation exercises to reduce dizziness

  • Fall risk assessment and prevention strategies

  • Functional mobility training

Vestibular therapy is effective for conditions such as Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuritis, labyrinthitis, PPPD, vestibular migraine, and concussion-related dizziness. Our skilled therapists work closely with each patient to restore stability, reduce symptoms, and rebuild confidence in movement.

Whether your goal is to return to work, drive safely, or simply feel steady on your feet again, vestibular rehabilitation can help you regain control and move with confidence.

Concussion

Concussion Rehabilitation is a specialized program designed to help individuals recover safely and effectively following a concussion or mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). Even after initial symptoms fade, many people continue to experience difficulties with balance, vision, coordination, concentration, or headaches—impacting daily function and quality of life.

Our physical therapy approach to concussion recovery is evidence-based and personalized to address each person’s specific symptoms and goals. Treatment may include:

  • Balance and vestibular training

  • Visual tracking and coordination exercises

  • Neck mobility

  • Gradual return-to-activity programs

  • Headache and symptom management strategies

Therapists work in collaboration with other healthcare providers as needed, ensuring a safe and comprehensive recovery. Whether you're an athlete, student, or adult recovering from a fall or accident, we guide you through a structured progression to restore function and prevent prolonged symptoms.

With the right support, you can return to work, school, sports, and life—stronger, safer, and symptom-free.
